14. We want to design a quiet office with a good level
of sound reduction. What level of sound reduction can you achieve
with your insulation?
A Sound Reduction index of at least 46dB can be achieved by
constructing a partition using a 70mm Knauf steel C stud partition
at 600mm centres with 12.50mm of Knauf Soundshield on each side and
incorporating 50mm of Crown Acoustic Partition Roll between the
studs.
