training to our customers, architects and specifiers.
With thermal, acoustic and fire regulations in buildings becoming
increasingly stringent, the Insulation Academy has been established
by Knauf Insulation to provide ‘personal’ support to your business
in relation to insulation products and solutions.
Whether the support you require is a phone call to our Technical
Advisory Centre, a CPD presentation at your office by our
specification team, or an ‘in-house’ training course for your staff
at one of the Knauf Insulation demonstration and display areas, you
can rely on us to not only provide industry leading technical
expertise, but also ‘tools’ to enhance your business and service
offer.
As the largest U.K. manufacturer of insulation with the broadest

the most appropriate insulation solution for any application or

For Architects and Specifiers
- Continuing Professional
Development courses (CPDs) – on Part L, Part E and the
Code for Sustainable Homes, a variety of additional CPD`s are also
being developed so register with our CPD Academy to be kept
informed of release dates.
- Specification Support – providing tools such
as NBS Clauses, CAD files, 3D Heat Loss Calculations and SAP
Calculation software
For Merchants and Distributors
- An Introduction to Insulation – providing the
‘basics of insulation’ to enable new people to the industry to gain
‘fast-track’ knowledge on the principles of energy efficiency and
acoustics
For Installers
- A range of courses are offered for every building application
including specialist training on ‘blown’ insulation into cavity
walls

Technical Advisory Centre (TAC)
Our TAC help desk is staffed from 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to
Friday by experienced insulation experts, ready to provide advice
on regulations, products and energy performance.
As well as technical advice, our TAC team can provide U-value
calculations, NBS clauses, 3D Heat Loss Calculations and CAD
