In his biggest reshuffle since becoming Prime Minister, David Cameron fired the starting gun for the general election by sacking or moving at least six Cabinet members to make way for a series of fresh replacements, who will be promoted on Tuesday. Knauf Insulation has provided solid evidence that its Supafil Party Wall glass mineral wool blowing insulation is a reliable way of eliminating party wall bypass and so City West Housing Trust - a Salford based housing association - has installed the product as part of a pilot scheme to a number of its properties. When completed, the trials will measure the extent of customers’ energy bill savings – estimated to be up to £90 a year – as well as the amount of carbon emissions that could be reduced.

Knauf Insulation’s ThermoShell® External Wall Insulation (EWI) rock system has helped to transform four residential blocks at Peregrine Road in Spelthorne, Surrey, as part of a £1.7m scheme undertaken by housing association, A2 Dominion. The EWI system has improved not only the energy efficiency of the 34 homes, it has also saved money on the residents’ energy bills and enhanced the appearance of the area.
