Knauf Insulation and the Great
British Refurb Manchester House
As part of our sponsorship of the Great
British Refurb Campaign, Knauf Insulation have been involved in a
low-carbon refurbishment of a Victorian house in Manchester.
Coinciding with the Conservative Party
conference in Manchester this week, Kevin McCloud (presenter of
Channel 4’s “Grand Designs” programme) visited the house on Tuesday
6th October to showcase what homeowners can achieve in
terms of energy efficiency and a reduction in carbon emissions with
the right Government policies.
Kevin is spearheading the Great British Refurb
Campaign and since its launch in April this year, has already
earned the support of leading Government figures and thousands of
British homeowners.
Taking the message directly to the Tories,
Kevin joined Shadow Energy Minister, Greg Clark MP on the main
stage at the party conference to talk about the campaign
and to introduce the video you can see on the Great British Refurb
website.
