Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Location: South West
I joined Knauf Insulation 10 years ago (with a short break of 6 months) and I have always worked in Sales within the building industry. In 2009 and 2012 I won Salesman of the Year and my official job title is Area Sales Manager for the South West. I look after approximately 150 + accounts in my area which certainly keeps me busy!
A typical day will require me to meet face to face with different customers who predominantly are distributors, builders merchants or end users. This is to ensure the branches and customers are fully up to speed with our product ranges, to resolve any queries they may have with orders or stock listings and mainly to sell our three technologies; rock, glass and foam. I’m also sometimes required to visit building sites to provide technical assistance and advise on suitable solutions

Job Title: Stand In Team Leader
Location: Cwmbran
I joined Knauf Insulation in 2003 as a Warehouse Operative. Through progression and promotion, I’ve been fortunate to have been given the position I currently hold. My typical duties are to assist the Team Leader in his daily activities; promote safety and ensure quality standards of our products are being met.
My biggest role is to take ownership of the Plant in the absence of my Team Leader. I find the role challenging and demanding, but very rewarding. I hope with the right support from my work colleagues and management, I can reach my own professional goals.
I am also a KINE Values Ambassador and help roll out the Values to employees. This has been very useful in getting good communication going through the whole Plant, from roof to roots.
