CoRE (Centre of Refurbishment Excellence) is holding its first learning event: Legislation, Regulation, Finance and Tools on Thursday 25th October at the CoRE Technology Centre in Stoke-on-Trent.
The three-hour event will focus specifically on the regulatory aspects and policy drivers for refurbishment. The event will provide hands-on, practical advice and guidance across a variety of subjects including: technical standards and assessment tools for refurbishment, as well as the statutory obligations of energy suppliers through CERT, CESP and the Energy Company Obligation (ECO).
A number of industry leaders from various sectors, including Richard Hartless, Associate Director and Head of Low Carbon Design Team at BRE and our very own Steven Heath, Public Affairs Director at Knauf Insulation, will be sharing their knowledge, experience and plans for future developments.
Companies, organisations and individuals interested in becoming Green Deal suppliers, such as manufacturers, energy advisors or surveyors, are all encouraged to attend the event.
