Sustainable School Solutions from Knauf Insulation - 16.2.10

Knauf Insulation will exhibit some of
the most sustainable innovations in insulation technology at the
Building Schools for the Future Exhibition, from
24th-25th February at London’s Excel
Centre.
Stand 1254 will highlight the growing trend
for sustainable insulation materials, as conveyed through Knauf
Insulation’s latest development- ECOSE® Technology,
which provides benefits never achieved before. Knauf Insulation
mineral wool products with ECOSE® Technology are unique
because they are made with a formaldehyde-free binder technology,
based on rapidly renewable materials, instead of petro-based
chemicals. Combined with the natural brown colour and new 'super
soft' feel, is the same reliable thermal and acoustic performance
that specifiers expect from their traditional mineral wool.
Knauf Insulation will also showcase its range
of built-up metal and rainscreen system solutions, already a
popular choice amongst educational buildings across the UK. Knauf
Insulation’s extensive portfolio offers a selection of thermal
conductivities suitable for a number of built-up metal systems,
providing exceptional all-round performance capabilities, including
excellent fire, performance and energy efficiency benefits.
Tony Corcoran, Market Manager for Building -
Non Residential at Knauf Insulation comments, “Knauf Insulation has
a proven track record of providing high performing insulation
solutions for schools and other education establishments. The
BSEC Exhibition is an ideal platform which allows us to convey to
specifiers energy efficient solutions that also meet acoustic,
thermal and fire performance requirements in educational
buildings.”
