Description
Crown FactoryClad is a flexible, lightweight roll of resilient,
non-combustible glass mineral wool with exceptionally high tear
strength. It is produced in a range of four different thermal
conductivities.
- FactoryClad 40 has a thermal conductivity of
0.040 W/mK
- FactoryClad 37 has a thermal conductivity of
0.037 W/mK
- FactoryClad 35 has a thermal conductivity of
0.035 W/mK
- FactoryClad 32 has a thermal conductivity of
0.032 W/mK
Application
Crown FactoryClad is used for the thermal and acoustic
insulation of roofs and walls in profiled metal clad buildings and
portable buildings. With an A1 fire classification, its use can
potentially reduce insurance premiums compared to foam composite
panels.
Crown FactoryClad is manufactured 1200mm wide to suit commonly
used rail and bracket systems and in long lengths, making it
particularly suitable for use in twin skin profiled metal cladding
systems and standing seam roofs.
Environmental
Crown FactoryClad is free from CFCs, HCFCs and any other
material with ozone depletion potential in its manufacture and
content and represents no known threat to the environment.
Crown FactoryClad's
manufacture has a low impact on the environment and is classified
as Zero ODP and Zero GWP.
Thermal Conductivity
Crown FactoryClad is produced in four different thermal
conductivites, from 0.032 to 0.040 W/mK.
Fire performance
Crown FactoryClad is classified as Euroclass A1 to BS EN ISO
13501-1

Durability
Crown FactoryClad is odourless, rot proof, non-hygroscopic, does
not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi,
mould or bacteria.
Standards
Crown FactoryClad is a non-combustible, inorganic glass wool,
defined as mineral wool in BS 3533: 1981 and is manufactured in
accordance with BSI Quality Assurance Standard BS EN ISO 9001:
2000.
Handling and Storage
Crown FactoryClad is easy to handle and install, being
lightweight and easily cut to size.
It is supplied in polythene packs which is designed for short
term protection only. For longer term protection on site, the
product should be stored either indoors, or under cover and off the
ground.
Crown FactoryClad should not be left permanently exposed to the
elements.
