Description
Crown FrameTherm Slab consists of a resilient, unfaced,
non-combustible glass mineral wool slab.
- Crown FrameTherm Slab 43 has a thermal
conductivity of 0.043 W/mK
- Crown FrameTherm Slab 38 has a thermal
conductivity of 0.038 W/mK
- Crown FrameTherm Slab 35 has a thermal
conductivity of 0.035 W/mK.
Application
Crown FrameTherm Slab is for the thermal insulation of
external walls and warm roofs in timber frame construction. Crown
FrameTherm Slab is friction fitted between studs and rafters
and are 570mm wide to suit commonly used stud and rafter
spacings.
Crown FrameTherm Slab can also be used for acoustic insulation
in timber framed separating walls.
Standards
Crown FrameTherm Slab is non-combustible inorganic glass
wool, defined as mineral wool in BS 3533: 1981 and are manufactured
in accordance with BSI Quality Assurance Standard BS EN ISO 9001:
2000
Vapour resistance and condensation
Crown FrameTherm Slab allows water vapour to pass freely through
the insulation, therefore allowing the construction element to
breathe.
Durability
Crown FrameTherm Slab is rot proof, does not sustain vermin
and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria.
Crown FrameTherm Slab is odourless and non-hygroscopic.
