Floorfoam
Floorfoam is a high performance acoustic insulation
product designed specifically to cushion and reduce the flow of
sound through floors in both existing and new buildings.
Made from extruded polyethylene (XPE), it is supplied in rolls
that are easy to carry and install for the professional installer
and skilled DIYer alike.
Floorfoam is widely used as a resilient acoustic
layer in screeded separating floors between apartments, floors of
offices, floors of hotels, floors of schools/hospitals and for any
other acoustic separation requirement in new and refurbished
buildings.
Available in 5mm or 10mm (and coupled with Floorfoam Easy Edge
Strip) this solution offers complete acoustic isolation for
excellent airborne and impact sound reduction.
Floorfoam is the ideal solution for below laminate floors, it is
light and very easy to lay. Compared to the cost of the wood floor
the underlay is an inexpensive yet extremely important part of the
total investment as the correct solution can enhance the
quality of a wood and laminate floor.
Solutions in 2mm and 5mm are offered with enhanced acoustic and
damp proofing properties available in the 5mm.
