Description

Loft Roll 270mm is a FULLY CUT, ultra thick product intended to be used as a single layer loft solution eliminating the requirement for cross-layering to achieve a U-value of 0.16 W/m²K.

The product is easier to install than a traditional 2 layer 270mm solution (i.e. 100mm + 170mm) and the position of the ceiling joists can be still be identified after the installation is complete.

Standards

Loft Roll 270mm is a non-combustible, inorganic glass wool, defined as mineral wool in BS 3533: 1981 and is manufactured in accordance with BSI Quality Assurance Standard BS EN ISO 9001: 2000.

Handling and Storage

Loft Roll 270mm is easy to handle and install, being lightweight and easily cut to size.

It is supplied in polythene packs which is designed for short term protection only.

For longer term protection on site, the product should be stored either indoors, or under cover and off the ground. Installation instructions are on every pack.

Loft Roll 270mm should not be left permanently exposed to the elements.

Permanence

Loft Roll 270mm is odourless, rot proof, non-hygroscopic, does not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria.

Loft Roll 270mm offers negligible resistance to the passage of water vapour and has a vapour resistivity of 7.00 MN.s.g.m.

Acoustic Performance

Loft Roll 270mm has excellent sound absorption characteristics.
