Description
Universal Roll is a flexible, lightweight, shot-free,
unfaced, low density, non-combustible glass mineral wool roll with
high tear strength.
Application
Universal Roll is uncut at 1200mm wide for use as a general
purpose thermal and acoustic building roll and is available in 60
& 80mm thicknesses.
Standards
Universal Roll is a non-combustible inorganic glass wool,
defined as mineral wool in BS 3533: 1981 and are manufactured in
accordance with BSI Quality Assurance Standard BS EN ISO 9001:
2000.
Vapour resistance and condensation
Universal Roll offers negligible resistance to the passage of
water vapour and has a vapour resistivity of 7.00 MN.s.g.m.
Durability
Universal Roll is rot proof, does not sustain vermin and will
not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria. Universal
Roll is odourless and nonhygroscopic.
Handling and Storage
Universal Roll is easy to handle and install, being lightweight
and easily cut to size.
Universal Roll is supplied in polythene packs which are designed
for short term protection only. For longer term protection on site,
the product should either be stored indoors, or under cover and off
the ground. Installation instructions are on every pack.
Universal Roll should not be left permanently exposed to the
elements.
