A range of rock mineral wool slabs
designed for use in external wall systems providing thermal, fire
and water resistant properties.
Specialist high strength, crimped
slabs are available where compression resistance is required.
Class A1 fire rated
- superior fire performance to polyurethane and expanded
polystyrene. No fire barriers required.
Excellent acoustic properties
- noise reduction properties superior to those of polyurethane
and expanded polystyrene.
High thermal performance
- reducing heat loss whilst cutting down on heating requirements
and CO2 emissions.
Supakube packaging
- delivered in Knauf Insulation’s unitised, weatherproof, easy
to store and handle packaging.
Designed for external wall insulation
– suitable for the application of externally rendered facade
systems on high-rise buildings – both commercial and residential –
and meets the requirements of BS EN 13500:2003.
Lightweight, but high impact strength
– perfectly balanced to offer maximum strength for extra support
and rigidity, but also lightweight and easy to handle.
Available in a range of thicknesses and densities
– optimising the thickness of material to be used to achieve the
required thermal performance. Large slab size (1200mm by 600mm) can
help save money too by reducing on fixing costs.
Slabs knit together
– prevents gaps and cold bridging – eliminating heat loss and
water penetration through joints.
Environmentally friendly
– stone mineral wool is made from abundant and sustainable
natural resources.
