ThermoShell - ALGICIDE

For the removal and prevention of algae, mould and fungi

Description

A processed ready pre-diluted sanitation solution for the removal and prevention of algae, mould and fungi.

Application

Cover and mask all surfaces that are not to be treated, such as windows, doors, cills, timber, glass, metal, floor areas and coverings.

Any accumulation of dirt in severely soiled areas should be removed mechanically by brushing. Wash the surface down and allow to dry. The background surface must be dry, so that the full absorptive capacity is available for a deep penetration of the biocide.

ThermoShell (TS) - ALGICIDE is supplied ready to use and should be applied using a roller. Dependent upon the background it may be necessary to roll the surface more than once.

TS-ALGICIDE is a preventative measure. Once applied it can be left on the surface and over- coated with TS-BOND, TS-SILICONE, TS-MINERAL RENDER or TS-SELF CLEAN. Allow the TS-ALGICIDE to dry fully before continuing works.

If TS-ALGICIDE is to be used to remove algae/mould or fungi from the surface with no further treatment to follow, then once applied leave for 24 hours before cleaning down with a high pressure washer. Clean from the base upwards and wash down from the top. Ensure that all water is collected and disposed of.

Do not carry out works if the air or surface temperature is 5º C and falling.

Wash all equipment and tools immediately after use.

All ThermoShell products should be applied by an approved ThermoShell Installer, list available upon request.

Safety at work

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with the eyes rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical advice.

Wear protective gloves and clothing. Remove clothing which has become impregnated. In the event of contact with skin wash immediately. Do not eat, drink or smoke while working.

Environmental

TS-ALGICIDE possesses no contents that are ecological hazards and therefore represents no known threat to the environment. However If the treatment is to be washed off the wall then please prevent from entering the water supply.

Handling and storage

TS-ALGICIDE is supplied in 10 Litre canisters and should be stored in its original container. Shelf life of 6 months, subject to cool frost free storage.
