ThermoShell - PRIMER S

A bonding primer for use with ThermoShell SILICONE topcoat render

Description

A bonding primer containing polymer binders for use with thin-coat rubbed or floated renders to provide superior adhesion for the ThermoShell topcoat finishes.

An aqueous solution for use internally or externally and available in a range of colours. For use with ThermoShell (TS) - SILICONE topcoat render only.

Application

Cover and mask dirt sensitive elements such as glazing. Protect background from weather ensuring that the surface is dry and free from dirt and dust. Existing surfaces may be treated with TS-PRIMER S.

Stir the bucket contents well prior to commencing and occasionally re-stir. Using a roller or a brush apply the TS-PRIMER S evenly in a crosswise pattern to avoid streaking.

TS-PRIMER S should be applied undiluted and do not carry out works if the air or surface temperature is 5ºC and falling. Leave for 24 hours before continuing work.

Wash all equipment and tools immediately after use.

• Helps prevent pitting marks when corresponding colour is used
• Allows for easier application of topcoat
• Can help delay drying out time of topcoat in warm weather.

All ThermoShell products should be installed by an approved ThermoShell installer.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear eye / face protection In case of contact with the eyes rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical advice.

Environmental

TS-PRIMER S possesses no contents that are ecological hazards and therefore represents no known threat to the environment.

Handling and storage

TS-PRIMER S is supplied in 18kg buckets and should be stored in its original container. Shelf life of 12 months, subject to cool frost free storage.
