ThermoShell - SELF CLEAN

Description

A premium silicone resin façade paint with self cleaning technology to reduce the adherence of
dirt particles.

Application

Cover and mask all elements that may come into contact with the ThermoShell (TS) - SELF
CLEAN. Protect background from weather ensuring that the surface is dry and free from dirt
and dust. Protect from strong direct sunlight that may cause excessively quick drying. Ensure the
background has dried sufficiently prior to application.

Check the colour and batch numbers of all the containers and test for correctness of hue by a
trial coat. If applying more than one container to a elevation then mix first in a clean receptacle.

TS-SELF CLEAN can be applied by roller / brush or through specific airless spraying technology.
Apply thinly and evenly, without overlapping wet on wet.

Due to the colour / texture of the surface the TS-SELF CLEAN is being applied to, it may be necessary to apply in 2 coats.

If application is in 2 coats then the first coat can be diluted by a maximum of 10% and the second coat by a maximum of 5%. For airless application then dilute by a maximum of 5%.

Do not carry out works if the air or surface temperature is +5ºC and falling.

TS-SELF CLEAN is formulated to inhibit the development of soiling / contamination (algae /
fungal growth), however this is dependent upon local factors / prevailing site conditions and
building design.

All ThermoShell products should be installed by an approved ThermoShell installer.

Safety at work

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear eye / face protection In case of contact with the eyes rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical advice.

Environmental

TS-SELF CLEAN possesses no contents that are ecological hazards and therefore
represents no known threat to the environment.

Handling and Storage

TS-SELF CLEAN is supplied in 12.5 litre buckets and should be stored in its original container. Shelf life of 24 months, subject to cool frost free storage.
