Merchant Sales Support, South East
Knauf Insulation is seeking a Merchant Sales Support, South East to join its Commercial team. This is a field-based role and candidates must reside on patch. This role reports direct to the Merchant Sales Support Manager. The role purpose is to be the first point of contact for local builder’s merchant’s branches for new and existing customers and to provide support to ASMs as required.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Develop and maintain relationships to protect and grow the Companies sales and position in the market place.
To seek new business opportunities to ensure future growth in existing and emerging markets.
To increase market share in specific product areas in line with the business direction.
Increase Knauf brand awareness through placement of point of sale.
Promote our product range, developing relationships and maintaining a level of direct contact with key companies, not currently trading directly with Knauf Insulation.
Provide customer training.
Customer trade days and exhibitions when required.
Collection of market intelligence including competitors and other market activity.
Provide timely and accurate inputs to our CRMM System (Salesforce)
Be a Knauf Insulation brand ambassador fitting in with the KI Values and Behaviours.
Knowledge & Experience
Ideally to University Degree level in a relevant field
Business Appreciation / Market Awareness
Knowledge of CI
Full driving licence
Ambitious & Driven
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage own workload
Build rapport & relationships easily
