Technical Service Apprentice

We are seeking a Technical Service Apprentice to join the Technical Support Team in head office, reporting to the Technical Support Manager.

The purpose of this role is to support the wider Technical Support Team by providing technical advice, support and guidance towards the specification and use of KINE products and systems to both external and internal customers via telephone and email

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Communicate verbally with customers over the phone to advise on technical aspects of the product range and related information
  • Develop relationships with internal and external customers that positively contribute to the customer experience
  • Promote products or services to customers where required
  • Resolution of customer issues relating to product application, substitution or performance
  • Collection and analysis of customer data including logging of potential sales leads
  • Supporting the wider Technical Support Team

Knowledge and experience

  • A ‘can-do’ attitude with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to build relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Basic IT skills using Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and willing to learn
