Knauf Insulation’s DriTherm® Cavity Slabs have become some of the first products on the UK market to carry the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) mark, helping to provide assurance that the information provided for these products is clear, accurate, accessible, up-to-date and unambiguous.

The first products to achieve CCPI verification were highlighted at a celebration event this month in Central London, attended by Dame Judith Hackitt, whose Independent Review into Building Safety stimulated the development of the CCPI scheme.

DriTherm® Cavity Slabs are water-repellent glass mineral wool slabs designed for use in external full-fill masonry cavity walls, with thermal performance options down to a lambda value of 0.032W/mK. The entire range is non-combustible with a Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification, and is manufactured using Knauf Insulation's unique bio-based binder, ECOSE® Technology. All products are BBA certified, and can be used in all exposure zones, including ‘very severe’ areas.

The Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) helps to provide assurance that any product information, whether written in a brochure, a presentation, or on a website or social media, is clear, accurate, up-to-date, accessible and unambiguous. There are eleven Clauses of the CCPI which cover a wide range of matters, from responsibility for product information, to accuracy of and clarity of performance claims made, general information and competency.
